We’re collecting money to help support NC GreenPower – a nonprofit that launched a pilot program to provide matching grants to NC K-12 schools for installing solar PV. Please donate to help support our cause!
The Center Of Applied Sciences & Technology (The COAST) is Brunswick County's new Career/Technical share-time facility. Our goal is to provide high school students from across the district with the opportunity to explore career options (particularly STEM-based careers) in a real-world, hands-on way.
The COAST's flagship course, Clean Energy Technology, will utilize the data and experiences provided through this opportunity to further develop the skills to solve tomorrow's energy issues today.
To make a donation via check, please make payable to “NC GreenPower” and be sure to note our school in the “memo” section of the check. Mail to NC GreenPower, Attn: Kimberly Walsh, 909 Capability Drive, Suite 2100, Raleigh, NC 27606About NC GreenPower:
With the mission of improving the quality of the environment in North Carolina, the nonprofit NC GreenPower was founded in 2003 as a statewide program. NC GreenPower helps to connect consumers with renewable energy and carbon offset providers to create positive environmental and economic impacts for our state. All projects supported by the program are located in North Carolina. In 2015, NC GreenPower launched a new pilot to support solar PV installations at K-12 schools. We need your help to continue our efforts to improve our home state and lay the groundwork for a cleaner, brighter future. Contributions to NC GreenPower are tax-deductible.
